BRUSSELS, Oct 16 (APP): Ambassador of Pakistan to the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg Rahim Hayat Qureshi on Thursday met members of the European Parliament (MEP) Dr. Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann and Wouter Beke and discussed the regional and bilateral matters.
In the meeting with MEP Dr. Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, who is also Chair of the European Parliament’s Defence Committee, they exchanged views on regional security, counter-terrorism, and evolving global defense dynamics.
They also discussed prospects for enhanced Pakistan-European Union cooperation on peace, stability, and emerging security challenges.
During the meeting with MEP Wouter Beke, the ambassador discussed the regional situation, increasing Pakistan-EU trade ties, and positive socio-economic contributions of the Pakistani Community in Belgium.
