LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday granted post-arrest bail to a husband and wife accused of honey trap and kidnapping for ransom.
ATC Judge Irfan Haider approved the bail petitions of Shahid Aslam and his wife Fatima Bibi, directing them to submit surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each.
According to the case record, the couple allegedly lured complainant Waqar Khan to their residence, held him hostage, and recorded an objectionable video.
The accused reportedly demanded Rs 500,000 in ransom and received Rs 80,000 through JazzCash.
A case was registered against the suspects at Hanjarwal Police Station on charges of kidnapping for ransom.
