LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday sent 98 detained workers of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) to jail on judicial remand while granting 18-day physical remand of 20 others to police.
ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the proceedings on police requests for remand.
Muridke police produced 98 accused before the court, while Chuhng and Baghbanpura police presented 20 arrested TLP workers.
The court, after hearing arguments, ordered that 98 suspects be sent to jail on judicial remand, while the remaining 20 be handed over to police on 18-day physical remand.
The accused are charged with attacking police personnel and damaging public property during recent protests.
