LAHORE, Oct 15 (APP):The Punjab University (PU) has approved reopening of its online admission portal till October 24, 2025, for candidates who appeared in the university’s Phase-II entry test but were unable to submit their applications for any program earlier.
Chairman Admission Committee Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood said that the decision was taken on the recommendation made to Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali after receiving a large number of written requests from students and various departments. He said that this step has been taken to facilitate candidates who appeared in the Phase-II admission test but could not apply for admission in any program previously.
Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood said that such candidates are being given an opportunity to apply for programs where seats are still available. According to the data provided by the PU IT Centre, the total number of such candidates stands at 1,639. He added that reopening the portal reflects Punjab University’s commitment to ensuring that all eligible students are provided fair access and convenience in the admission process.
