IG Rizvi stressed that technology-based policing is the need of the hour, highlighting the importance of expanding Safe City initiatives, digitalizing citizen services, and modernizing operational systems. He ordered that each initiative be closely monitored for timely completion and long-term sustainability.
He further underlined that public convenience, trust, and safety must remain the top priority in every project. Better coordination, teamwork, and transparency across all police wings, he added, are essential for building a modern and efficient policing system.
The official said Islamabad Police remains committed to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens, ensuring the rule of law, and providing improved services through a comprehensive reform agenda.
