MULTAN, Oct 15 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) disposed of 1,140 litres of adulterated milk and imposed fines totaling Rs 73,000 on several milk shops and a milk
transport vehicle.
According to PFA officials, inspections were carried out by the dairy safety teams at three milk shops in New Model Town and Ali Town, as well as on a milk-carrying vehicle on Dunyapur Road.
During the operation, on-the-spot testing of milk samples was conducted.
The tests confirmed water adulteration and a lack of essential natural nutrients, deeming the milk substandard. The contaminated milk was immediately discarded.
