CHINIOT, Oct 15 (APP):On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, practical steps are being taken across Chiniot district under the Smog Control Campaign.
Under the supervision of DSP Traffic Khurram Shehzad, the Traffic Police organized an awareness seminar and walk at the bus stand.
DSP Khurram Shehzad delivered a lecture to drivers, highlighting the harmful effects of smog and preventive measures to curb it.
He emphasized that fitness certificates for all commercial and non-commercial vehicles have been made mandatory and urged drivers to ensure the timely maintenance of their vehicles.
DPO Abdullah Ahmed stated that eliminating air pollution and smog is a shared responsibility, urging citizens to play their role in a clean and healthy environment.
