ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) announced that traffic across the federal capital is moving normally, with officers actively deployed to ensure smooth flow on all routes.
An official told APP on Wednesday that Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Capt (R) Hamzah Humayun is personally supervising duties and monitoring deployments across key locations. He said ITP officers are on ground to regulate flow and assist motorists.
The official added that enforcement measures are being taken against lane violations, one-wheeling, wrong-way driving, and fancy number plates, stressing that such action is aimed at protecting lives.
Motorcyclists and heavy vehicles have been urged to remain in their designated lanes, while all citizens have been requested to cooperate with traffic wardens.
