Sarfraz Bugti vows zero tolerance for drug cultivation

QUETTA, Oct 14 (APP): Chief Minister (CM) of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has issued a firm declaration that narcotics cultivation will not be tolerated anywhere in the province.
In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), he said that “Not an inch of Balochistan’s land will be allowed to be used for poppy or any kind of narcotic crop.”
Sarfraz Bugti emphasized the grave threat posed by drugs to the future of the youth, and affirmed that the provincial government is taking effective and practical steps at every level to eradicate this menace.
To combat drug cultivation and trafficking, the CM highlighted the importance of collaboration among the administration, law enforcement agencies, and local communities. He praised the Deputy Commissioner of Killa Saifullah and their team for conducting a successful anti-narcotics operation, calling it a strong and positive step toward eliminating drugs from the region.
CM Sarfraz Bugti underscored the government’s zero-tolerance policy against the production, trafficking, and use of drugs. He vowed to uproot the narcotics threat completely, ensuring that Balochistan remains free from the scourge that endangers public health and social stability.
