BAHAWALPUR, Oct 14 (APP):In a bid to elevate educational standards across all its campuses to an international level, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) organized a training workshop on “Clear Objectives and Result-Oriented Educational Programs” under the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Kamran delivered the keynote address at the workshop. He emphasized that adopting purposeful teaching methods aligned with the standards of the Higher Education Commission and global best practices is the need of the hour. He further stated that modern trends in teaching and learning play a critical role in delivering clear, result-oriented, and long-term educational outcomes for students.
Dr. Kamran also stressed that the quality of education and teaching in affiliated colleges must be brought on par with that of the university’s main campuses.
On the occasion, Faisal Nadeem, President of the Private Colleges Association, appreciated the existing teaching standards in affiliated colleges and lauded the initiation of training programs aimed at enhancing faculty development.
