ICT Police put proclaimed offender behind bars

ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police’s Humak Police Station apprehended a proclaimed offender wanted in a fraud case, following a targeted operation.
An official told APP on Tuesday that accused Muhammad Bakhsh, resident of Main Margalla Road, Islamabad, was arrested and shifted to the lock-up. He was wanted in FIR No. 321/24, registered under sections 420/468/471 PPC at Humak Police Station.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Jawad Tariq, praised the police team for their swift action, stressing that Islamabad Police will not allow any criminal to escape justice. “Every offender will be tracked down and brought before the law,” he said, adding that operations against absconders and criminals are being intensified across the capital.
The official said that Humak Police remain actively engaged in action against criminal elements and are fully committed to ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property.
