ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (APP):Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the recent firing incident in which Levies officer Abdul Kabir embraced martyrdom while performing his duty.
Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss, the minister paid glowing tribute to the martyred officer for his courage, dedication, and commitment to protecting the nation.
In his statement, Minister Naqvi said that Levies officer Abdul Kabir attained the high status of martyrdom while serving in the line of duty, demonstrating exemplary bravery and devotion. He offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, assuring them that the nation stands with them in this difficult time.
“The entire country is proud of our brave security personnel who lay down their lives in the defense of peace and security,” the interior minister said. He emphasized that the attackers who targeted the team working to safeguard the future of our children are not deserving of any leniency and will be brought to justice at all costs.
Minister Naqvi reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism and ensure the safety of citizens across the country. He directed law enforcement agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend the culprits involved in the firing incident and to strengthen security measures in vulnerable areas.
He further stated that the sacrifices of martyrs like Abdul Kabir would never be forgotten, as they continue to inspire the nation’s commitment to peace, stability, and justice.
