ATTOCK, Oct 14 (APP):In view of the prevailing law and order situation, the district administration has imposed Section 144 across the district, banning all forms of political gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, demonstrations, and protests.
According to an official handout issued by the District Information Office, the decision has been taken to ensure the protection of public life and property.
The police and other law enforcement agencies are on high alert to maintain peace and order in the district.
The citizens have been urged to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and to remain indoors unless necessary.
The handout further stated that strict legal action would be taken against violators of Section 144 to ensure stability and public safety.
