German Ambassador calls on Minister for Defence Production

RAWALPINDI, Oct 13 (APP):Ambassador of Republic of Germany Ms. Ina Lepel, called on Federal Minister for Defence Production Muhammad Raza Hayat Harraj here Monday.

The Minister welcomed the dignitary in his office. They exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and enhancing cooperation in defence production, said a press release.

The Minister said that relations between Pakistan and Germany spanning over decades grounded in mutual respect, trust and constructive engagement.

Raza Hayat Harraj also expressed that there is a great potential for further extending defence cooperation between the two countries.

He also extended invitation to the dignitary for IDEAS-2026 will be held at Karachi in Nov/Dec 2026.

Ms. Ina Lapel said that as ambassador in Pakistan, this is her third tenure. She served between 2006 to 2009 and later 2015 to 2017. “She is delighted to serve in Pakistan for the third time in her career,” the Ambassador said.
