KARACHI, Oct 13 (APP): The University of Karachi (KU) and Jamia Karachi Alumni Association Houston (JKAAH), Texas, USA, with the support of Karachi University Teachers’ Society, signed the memorandum of understanding at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat on Monday.
This MoU aims to further strengthen cooperation and promote educational development for the students. As per the MoU, JKAAH would provide 100 laptops in the year 2026 which will be distributed among the deserving masters, MPhil, and PhD students.
According to the MoU, selection and distribution process will be managed transparently with the assistance of KUTS. This initiative aims to enhance students’ access to digital resources, support academic excellence, and foster research advancement.
The MoU documents were signed by the KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, President JKAAH Faheem Akhoond, President KUTS Dr Mohsin Ali.
