HYDERABAD, Oct 13 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro Ghazanfar Ali Qadri on Monday visited the DHQ Hospital Kotri to review the ongoing anti-polio campaign in the district.
During his visit, he met with polio workers and directed them to ensure that every child under the age of five receives polio drops regularly so that no child in the district is left unvaccinated.
Later, DC inspected the administration of polio drops to nomadic children near LUMHS hospital Jamshoro. He issued special instructions to the concerned officers to ensure that newborn children from migrating families are also vaccinated during the campaign.
He further directed health officials to achieve the set targets within the stipulated time and warned that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
DHO Dr. Pir Manzoor Ahmed, N-Stop Officer Dr. Kaleem Shaikh and officers from the health, revenue and police departments along with polio workers were also present on the occasion.
