DC for completing arrangements for entry test to medical colleges

FAISALABAD, Oct 13 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Capt (R) Nadeem Nasir has directed to completing necessary arrangements for entry test scheduled on October 26 in the district, for admission to medical colleges under the auspices of University of Health Sciences.
He directed the officers concerned to present a comprehensive report on centers’ requirements by visiting the premises.
He issued these instructions while presiding over a meeting in which administrative and security matters regarding the conduct of the entry test were discussed here on Monday.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioners, Centers In-charge, Coordinator University of Health Sciences, Parking Company, Rescue 1122, Civil Defense, Traffic Police, FESCO, Faisalabad Waste Management Company, Municipal Corporation and
officers of other departments.
The Deputy Commissioner directed that keeping in mind previous experiences, comprehensive and solid arrangements should be made for the conduct of the entry test.
He clarified that drinking water should be available in sufficient quantity for students at the centers, while clocks on the wall in the examination room should also be functional.
He directed the concerned officers to perform their responsibilities in a proper manner by arranging an effective traffic plan, selecting suitable places for parking, setting up tuck shops, sitting arrangements for parents, uninterrupted power supply, clean washrooms, setting up medical camps, keeping an eye on those selling cardboard and pencils outside the centers, and taking the examination material safely to the centers.
He clarified that apart from the invigilators and other relevant staff, no unrelated person should be present at the centers.
He said that Section 144 would also be imposed in the examination centers on the day of test.
The Coordinator University of Health Sciences said that a total of 5,824 candidates including 4,207 females would appear in the entry test.
Three examination centers, one for boys would be set up at Govt College University, Old Campus, Dhobi Ghat and two centers for female candidates would be set up at Divisional Public School and College and Divisional Model College.
