PESHAWAR, Oct 12 (APP): The people of Swabi, along with the local traders’ association on Sunday held a rally to strongly condemn the recent Afghan attacks and alleged border violations by Afghanistan.
Participants expressed outrage over the unprovoked firing and termed it a direct challenge to Pakistan’s peace and sovereignty.
Protesters stated that such actions were intolerable and announced complete solidarity with the Pakistan Army, vowing to make every sacrifice necessary for the defense of the homeland. They also praised the Army’s timely and strong response, calling it a decisive move to thwart enemy ambitions.
Participants urged Afghanistan not to be influenced by hostile forces and to pursue the path of peace as a fellow Islamic neighbor. They emphasized that Pakistan’s sovereignty is non-negotiable and warned that any further aggression would be met with a powerful response.
A similar demonstration of solidarity with Pakistan was also reported from Bannu, where citizens condemned the Afghan attacks and expressed unwavering support for the armed forces.
The Bannu citizens strongly condemned the recent Afghan attacks on Pakistani border areas, staging a protest to express solidarity with Pakistan. Demonstrators denounced the aggression and urged Afghanistan to respect Pakistan’s sovereignty and peace.
They stated that peaceful and cooperative relations between the two nations are essential for regional stability and that such hostile acts only serve the enemies of both countries.
Bannu residents warned that such provocations would not be tolerated in the future and urged the Afghan government to reconsider its stance. They reiterated that peace in the region depends on mutual respect and stronger cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
