MULTAN, Oct 12 (APP):Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former MNA Malik Ahmad Hussain Dehar praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for setting a new precedent by personally reaching out to flood victims and prioritizing their rehabilitation efforts.
Speaking to APP, Dehar said that for the first time in Punjab’s history, a chief minister had demonstrated such compassion and commitment to the suffering people. He noted that Maryam Nawaz’s bold and proactive approach had exposed those involved in what he termed “Form-47 politics.”
Dehar further remarked that individuals who once collected monthly kickbacks through SHOs and patwaris, and extracted commissions from development funds, had always deemed past governments as “good.”
“But now,” he added, “those same elements are spreading baseless propaganda against the chief minister’s dignified and effective rehabilitation program for flood victims.”
