Tamasha breaks record with 32m users during Asia Cup 2025

ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP):Tamasha, Jazz’s premier streaming platform, has set new records for digital sports viewership during the Asia Cup 2025, registering over 32 million Monthly Active Users (MAUs) and 14 million peak Daily Active Users during the much-anticipated final between Pakistan and India.
The platform, along with its partner network, expanded Pakistan’s digital live sports audience from 33 million to 43 million — a 30 percent surge in market size, said a press release. Viewers collectively watched more than 2.2 billion minutes of live cricket, generating 326 million views, further consolidating Tamasha’s position as the country’s leading digital entertainment hub.
During the Pakistan-India final, Tamasha saw over 3 million app downloads in a single day, underscoring the growing shift toward digital sports streaming in Pakistan.
Tamasha also delivered strong returns for advertisers, emerging as the top-performing platform for brand visibility and engagement during the Asia Cup campaign.
HBL, one of Pakistan’s leading banks and title sponsor of the Pakistan Super League, partnered with Tamasha as the title sponsor of The DugOut — the app’s flagship cricket analysis show featuring Shoaib Akhtar, Muhammad Hafeez, Sohail Tanvir, and Sana Mir. The show drew 8.4 million unique users, recorded 29 million views, and logged 38 million minutes of watch time.
With 4.3 billion ad impressions and 11.2 million clicks generated over 28 days, Tamasha reaffirmed its position as the go-to platform for live sports, expert analysis, and fan engagement in Pakistan.
