RAWALPINDI, Oct 09 (APP):Deputy Commissioner (DC) Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi on Thursday visited the Mall Road Murree to review ongoing and proposed development works and met the affected people residing along its hillside.
He listened to their concerns, as the affectees shared their suggestions regarding the proposed development plan. DC Shirazi assured them that their proposals would be carefully considered while finalising the plan.
He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) General Murree Kamran Sagheer, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Murree Faisal Ahmed and officers of all relevant departments.
DC Shirazi said the Punjab Government was implementing the Murree Beautification Plan aimed at establishing a recreational park and providing public facilities along Mall Road to make the area more attractive, clean and tourist-friendly.
He emphasised that complete transparency and fairness would be ensured in the execution of the project. “Public welfare projects are our top priority, and no negligence or laxity will be tolerated in their implementation,” he affirmed.
