ITP conducts road safety workshop at Beaconhouse for students

ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP):Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) organized a one-day Road Safety Workshop at Beaconhouse School to educate students about traffic laws, road discipline, and safe driving practices.
An ITP official told APP on Thursday that Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Captain (retd) Hamza Humayun attended the session as the chief guest and delivered an interactive awareness talk for students.

CTO Hamzah briefed the participants on road safety principles, including the importance of wearing helmets, fastening seat belts, obeying traffic signals, and avoiding the use of mobile phones while driving.
He also emphasized that responsible driving and pedestrian awareness are vital to ensuring safety for all road users.
The CTO further highlighted that Islamabad Traffic Police regularly conducts awareness sessions in schools, colleges, and universities to promote a culture of responsibility among youth.
At the end of the workshop, the school administration presented a souvenir to CTO Hamza  in appreciation of ITP’s efforts for public education and road safety.
The CTO Hamzah appreciated the enthusiasm of students and staff and said that ITP would continue such initiatives to develop safer driving habits and strengthen traffic discipline in the federal capital.

Students also participated in a question-and-answer session and pledged to follow traffic rules and help spread awareness about road safety among their peers.
