Rescue 1122 holds training session for students on first aid, CPR

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 09 (APP):Rescue 1122 held a one-day training session for students of Government High School-4 to educate them on first aid and how to effectively respond during medical emergencies.
According to the Rescue 1122 spokesman the session was held on the directions of Director Operation South Imran Khan Yousafzai under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Eng. Fasihullah.
The Rescue 1122 training wing trained through practical demonstrations on administering CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in cases of cardiac or respiratory arrest.
The students were given hands-on training in first aid, CPR, bleeding control, and how to respond to choking and other medical emergencies.
 The in-charge of the training wing, said the purpose of such training was to empower the youth to respond swiftly and effectively during emergencies, ensuring the safety of lives at risk.
The principal, teachers and students of the school appreciated the efforts of Rescue 1122, calling the training a much-needed initiative.
