RAWALPINDI, Oct 09 (APP):The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducting 7 operations across the country, recovered as many as 637.2 kilograms of drugs worth more than Rs 172.4 million and arrested 7 suspects, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Thursday.
He informed that 1.2 kg of hashish was recovered from a vehicle near Farooq Azam Chowk, Attock, and the accused was arrested.
During another operation in District Attock, 810 grams of ice were recovered from the possession of an accused near a college area.
The arrested accused confessed to selling drugs to the students of educational institutions
As many as 4 kg of heroin was recovered from a vehicle near Kak Pul, Islamabad, and the accused was arrested.
Similarly,3.318 kg of heroin was recovered from the possession of an accused near Village Pade, Lahore.
As much as 2.4 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of a man and a woman riding a motorcycle near Haji Shah Bus Terminal, Attock and the accused was arrested.
In another operation,565 grams of heroin, 4 batteries and a drop kit, including a drone, were recovered from the possession of the accused near Ali Shaheed Check Post, Lahore.
As many as 625 kg of ice mixed with fine powder bound for Japan from Afghanistan was recovered in the Badruddin Yard, Karachi.
Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act, and further investigations are underway.
