ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid glowing tribute to Major Sibtain Haider, who embraced martyrdom while courageously fighting India-sponsored terrorists in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan.
In a statement, the minister lauded the bravery and sacrifice of Major Sibtain Haider, saying the officer sent seven India-backed terrorists “to hell” before laying down his life in the line of duty.
“By sacrificing his life, Major Sibtain Haider foiled the nefarious designs of India-sponsored terrorists,” Naqvi said.
He added that the martyred officer had “written a new chapter of courage and valour with his blood.”
The minister said the nation was proud of such brave sons and saluted the courage and commitment of Major Sibtain Haider.
He also extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family of the martyr.
