Mainly dry weather to prevail across most parts of country: PMD

ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP):The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather over most parts of the country on Thursday, while hilly regions are likely to experience cold conditions during night and morning hours.
In Islamabad, the weather will remain dry with slightly cold conditions at night and early morning.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, dry weather is expected in most plain districts, while the upper hilly areas will turn cold during night and morning.
In Punjab, dry conditions are likely to prevail in most districts, including Murree, Galiyat and adjoining areas, where nights and mornings will be chilly.
In Sindh, hot and dry weather is expected in most districts including Turbat, Mithi, Chhor, Tando Jam and Shaheed Benazirabad, where the highest maximum temperatures of 35 C were recorded during the past 24 hours.
In Balochistan, dry weather is likely in most districts, while northern parts of the province will experience cold conditions at night and early morning.
In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather will remain cold and dry.
During the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, with cold conditions in upper hilly areas. A light rainfall of 1 mm was recorded in Kalam, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
