LAHORE, Oct 08 (APP):The Central Business District (CBD) Punjab has announced significant progress in infrastructure development at its flagship project, NSIT City.
The futuristic IT hub is set to become a landmark in Lahore’s and Punjab’s technological landscape. Officials said that Celestia IT Tower — the flagship project of CBD Punjab located in the Silicon Block of NSIT City — has reached 65% completion, marking a major milestone in the province’s IT advancement.
In Package 1, substantial progress has been achieved, including 24% completion of road work, 58% subgrade, 48% sub-base, 34% water-bound, 92% drains, 48% sewer, and 8% MV work. Development activity is also gaining pace in Packages 2 and 3, where 250-foot and 228-foot-wide circular roads and a 150-foot-wide territory road are under construction. So far, 65% of road work and 22% of sewer work have been completed.
These developments are laying the groundwork for NSIT City to emerge as Pakistan’s largest and most advanced IT hub, designed around world-class infrastructure, sustainable energy solutions, and technology-driven urban planning.
CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin stated: “NSIT City is Pakistan’s largest IT project being developed to meet global standards. By providing sustainable infrastructure, we are opening a new chapter for the country’s IT sector.
CBD Punjab continues to set new benchmarks in urban transformation by boosting investor confidence, spurring economic growth, and delivering world-class infrastructure across Punjab.”
