ISLAMABAD, Oct 8 (APP):Ethiopian Ambassador Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula paid a farewell visit to Minister of State / Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media, Fahd Haroon, here on Wednesday.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue cooperation between Ethiopia and Pakistan, said a press release issued here.
During the meeting, they discussed the growing partnership between Pakistan and Ethiopia and the progress made in strengthening bilateral relations.
Haroon commended the ambassador’s efforts to deepen mutual understanding and collaboration during his tenure in Islamabad.
The discussion also focused on the increasing role of digital platforms in modern diplomacy. Both agreed that digital engagement can enhance people-to-people connections and help promote national narratives globally.
They emphasized the importance of continued cooperation in digital communication, innovation, and media exchange.
Fahd Haroon appreciated Dr. Jemal’s active role in expanding ties between the two countries and expressed hope that the positive momentum in Pakistan-Ethiopia relations would continue.
He extended his best wishes to the outgoing ambassador for his future assignments and thanked him for his contributions toward advancing cooperation in multiple fields.
