ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP):Anti-Terrorism Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing of cases registered against PTI leaders and workers in various police stations related to violent protest.
The court said that arrest warrants would be issued if the absent accused again skip appearance on next date. It also recorded statement of witness against PTI leader Faisal Javed.
During the hearing, the accused in the case registered on November 26 in Kohsar police station was provided with copies of the challans.
The court issued notices to the accused who was absent in the case to ensure his presence at the next hearing and warned that if the accused did not appear, non-bailable arrest warrants would be issued.
The court adjourned the hearing of this case till November 8. On the other hand, the statement of another witness was recorded in the case against PTI leader Faisal Javed in the Industrial Area police station.
The court directed the defense lawyers to start cross-examining the witnesses at the next hearing and adjourned the hearing till October 20. Similarly, the hearing of the case registered in Secretariat police station was adjourned till October 15.
