ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP):Federal Minister for Communications and President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Abdul Aleem Khan, on Wednesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Pakistan Army officers and soldiers during an operation against terrorists in Orakzai.
In his condolence message, Abdul Aleem Khan said the entire nation pays tributes to its brave Martyrs and stands in mourning over the sacrifices of Lt. Colonel Junaid Arif, Major Tayyab Rahat and 9 valiant soldiers, said a press release.
He prayed for the Martyrs and for their families to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude. He stated that the Armed Forces of Pakistan have always thwarted the enemy’s malicious ambitions by laying down their lives for the motherland.
He commended the Armed Forces for eliminating 19 India-sponsored terrorists, thereby ensuring the country’s security and reaffirmed that countering the “fitna al Khawarij” and their facilitators remains a top priority for national defense.
Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized that the entire nation stands united with the Armed Forces and remains indebted to their sacrifices. “The sacrifices of our Martyrs will always be remembered and we express our heartfelt solidarity with their families,” he concluded.
