ISLAMABAD, Oct 08 (APP):Ch Salik Hussain has been elected unopposed as President, while Muhammad Sarwar Rana has been elected as Secretary General of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF), according to a notification issued by the Election Commission of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on Wednesday.
The elections were held in accordance with the Constitution of the Pakistan Sports Board 2022, the Revised National Sports Policy 2005, and the Sports Election Regulations 2024.
The final list of candidates was issued on October 2, after which all nominees were declared elected unopposed to the Executive Committee.
According to the official notification, Col. Nabeel Ahmad Rana, Lt. Cdr. Kaleem Ullah, and Ray Muhammad Asghar have been elected as Vice Presidents, while Muhammad Sohail Ahmad Khan will serve as Finance Secretary/Treasurer.
Akhtar Abbas Khawaja has been elected as Associate Secretary and Rana Amjad Iqbal as Joint Secretary.
The Executive Members include Sultan Syed Shah, Humaira Latif, Faiza Batool, Fariha Shabbir and Saba Naz.
The notification, signed by Election Commissioner Waseem Majid Malik and Members Babur Suhail and Zohaib Hassan Gondal, confirmed that the elections were conducted transparently and in accordance with the PSB rules and the Constitution of the Federation.
