LAHORE, Oct 07 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, on Tuesday approved Rs 1.9 million for medical treatment of police employees, retired officers and their families.
Sharing the details, the spokesperson said that Constable Muhammad Muzammil has been granted Rs. 500,000 for medical treatment. Constable Muhammad Azeem has been provided Rs. 500,000 for cancer treatment. Officer Muneeb Sultan has been granted Rs. 250,000 for tumor treatment. Retired Inspector Baqar Shah and ASI Qaiser Mahmood have been provided Rs. 100,000 each for medical treatment. Head Constables Saif-ur-Rehman, Ahmad Nadeem, and Junior Patrolling Officer Javed Iqbal have each been granted Rs. 100,000 for medical assistance. Similarly, retired Assistant Muhammad Riaz and retired Inspector Muhammad Iqbal have been provided a combined total of Rs. 150,000 in financial assistance.
The IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the disbursement of these funds after the scrutiny of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. The IGP said that Punjab Police are also providing quality medical treatment facilities to its employees through MOUs with various institutions.
