FAISALABAD, Oct 07 (APP):Convener of the District Coordination Committee (DCC) and Member National Assembly (MNA) Chaudhary Shehbaz Babar emphasized that strong coordination among government departments is essential for effective public service delivery.
Chairing a DCC meeting for City Faisalabad, he said regular committee sessions are being held to ensure the swift resolution of public issues at the grassroots level. “These continuous meetings reflect the government’s commitment to efficient governance and timely public relief,” he stated.
MNA Shehbaz Babar noted that all departments are working in close coordination to advance the mission of public welfare and service.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir briefed attendees on key initiatives. He said that the Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA) and Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) have been mobilized to address priority issues related to sewerage, cleanliness, and park maintenance.
Efforts are also underway to transform public parks into genuine recreational spaces. Meanwhile, the Municipal Corporation is actively engaged in restoring streetlights and completing road patchwork to improve urban infrastructure.
