ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested 10 outlaws during separate actions across the federal capital as part of an ongoing crackdown to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property.
An official told APP on Tuesday that police teams from the Secretariat, Sumbal, and Khanna Police Stations arrested three accused and recovered a large quantity of ice (crystal meth) and one pistol with ammunition from their possession.
He said that cases have been registered against the accused, and further investigations are underway.
He added that during a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, seven more criminals were arrested.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan stated that Islamabad Police are continuously working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital.
“No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city,” he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
