Meeting of Gilgit-Baltistan Apex Committee held

ASTORE ,Oct 07 (APP):An important meeting of the Gilgit-Baltistan Apex Committee, chaired by Chief Minister Haji Ghulbar Khan, was held in the Apex Committee Room, Jutial.
The meeting was attended by the Commander FCNA, the Chief Secretary of Gilgit-Baltistan, the Inspector General of Police, the Home Secretary, the Secretary of Interior, and representatives of other law-enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies, and administrative departments.
During the meeting, the participants strongly condemned the terrorist incidents, including the attacks on Qazi Nisar Ahmed and Justice Malik Inayat-ur-Rehman.
The attendees reiterated their resolve that the peace and security of Gilgit-Baltistan will not be allowed to be disturbed at any cost, and that all persons involved in these incidents will be brought to justice.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan appealed to the public to remain calm, avoid confrontation, and fully cooperate with the security agencies to maintain law and order. The Commander FCNA stated that the security forces are always ready to protect the peace and safety of the region and its people.
The forum directed the Secretary Excise and Taxation to complete the registration of all vehicles operating in Gilgit-Baltistan in the names of their owners within 2 to 3 weeks, in order to prevent anonymous use of vehicles by miscreants.
Participants paid tribute to individuals from all schools of thought who are playing a role in maintaining peace and order in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The meeting concluded with a pledge that all stakeholders will work together for peace and stability in the region. The government and security agencies will continue to play their full part in maintaining law and order and regional security, and will leave no stone unturned in delivering the perpetrators of this regrettable incident to their deserved end.
