HYDERABAD, Oct 06 (APP):The Sindh High Court on Monday summoned SSP Jamshoro district on the next hearing in connection with the case of a missing 14 years old boy, Ghulam Rasool Sehto, who belonged to Sehwan.
According to details, the court also ordered the police to continue the ongoing investigation of the missing child case.
During the hearing DIG Hyderabad Tariq Razzak Dharejo and SSP Jamshoro Zafar Siddique Changa briefed the court about progress of the police investigation which had continued for 3 months since the boy went missing from Sehwan.
The DIG apprised the court that the police raided many places in Sehwan and Bhan Saeedabad towns and detained some suspects as well.
He added that the police had also traced a dead body of a boy for which they had filed a request in the court of District and Session Judge Jamshoro to allow exhumation so that identity of the deceased could be ascertained with the help of the DNA test.
Ruqiya Aziz Sehto, mother, who kept sobbing during the hearing believed that her son was still alive and that the police were trying to cover-up the case of a missing child.
The SHC’s bench ordered the police to submit report of the DNA test along with the case investigation progress report at the next hearing
