ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested 14 outlaws during separate actions and recovered narcotics, liquor, and illegal weapons as part of their ongoing crackdown on criminal elements across the federal capital.

An official told APP on Monday that teams from Aabpara, Secretariat, Margalla, Shalimar, Golra, and Humak police stations arrested eight accused and recovered a large quantity of narcotics, 18 bottles of liquor, one Kalashnikov, one gun, and three pistols with ammunition from their possession.
He said that cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway. During a special campaign to apprehend absconders and proclaimed offenders, six more criminals were also arrested.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Muhammad Shoaib Khan said that the ICT Police is fully committed to ensuring the protection of citizens’ lives and property through consistent and effective law enforcement actions.
“No one will be allowed to disturb the peace of the citizens,” he said, adding that the safety and security of residents remain the top priority of the ICT Police.
