LAHORE, Oct 06 (APP):Punjab University (PU) has awarded PhD degrees to ten scholars in various disciplines.
According to a university spokesperson, the recipients include Ammar Amin, son of Muhammad Amin, in Islamic Studies; Syed Babar Ali, son of Noor Muhammad Syed, in Public Health; Sajjad Hussain, son of Khizar Hayyat, in Chemistry; Javaid Asif, son of Abbas Asif, in International Relations; Aneela, daughter of Muhammad Ashraf, and Asif Abd-ur-Rehman, son of Abd-ur-Rehman, in Mathematics; Munir Ahmad Shahid, son of Rehmat Ali, in Polymer Technology; Anum Tariq, daughter of Muhammad Javed Tariq, and Taiba Tariq, daughter of Muhammad Tariq, in Environmental Sciences; and Wang Lin, daughter of Wang Eryin, in History.
The spokesperson added that Punjab University is committed to promoting quality research and academic excellence, contributing to the advancement of higher education in the country.
