DOHA, Oct 06 (APP):A grand dinner has been hosted in Doha by Sheikh Al-Faleh bin Nasser, former minister of environment and climate change of Qatar and a member of the royal family, in honor of Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam.
Engineer Amir Muqam thanked the host for his warm hospitality and reiterated the commitment to the mutual development of the long-standing and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar, says a statement.
He highlighted the immense potential for increased cooperation in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, tourism, and human resource development.
Engr Amir Muqam said the people of Pakistan deeply respect the leadership and people of Qatar. “Our relations are based on shared values, faith, and a mutual commitment to progress.”
The former Qatari minister acknowledged the role of the Pakistani community in Qatar’s development and reaffirmed the royal family’s continued support for efforts that promote peace, economic cooperation, and human development in the region.
He appreciated Pakistan’s swift and strong response following the Israeli attack in Qatar.
He also praised Pakistan’s success in the recent war with India and commended the exceptional leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Gen Syed Asim Munir, particularly for their decisive response during the war.
He stated that Pakistan’s victory in the war uplifted the entire Muslim Ummah.
