ABBOTTABAD, Oct 06 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Salim Akram has imposed Section 144 Cr.PC in the district in connection with the upcoming President’s Parade at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul to ensure foolproof security and maintain law and order during the prestigious event.
According to the district administration, the orders will remain effective from October 13 to October 18, 2025. The decision aims to safeguard public life and property while maintaining a peaceful environment throughout the parade period.
Under the imposed restrictions, protest gatherings around PMA Kakul have been banned, while all forms of firing, mining, and blasting activities have been strictly prohibited. The use of drones, quadcopters, and kite flying has also been banned in the surrounding areas. Moreover, specific shops near the Ilyasi Gate will remain closed on designated days as part of the security plan. The movement of Afghan nationals in the vicinity has also been restricted.
Authorities have warned that any violation of these orders will lead to legal action under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The administration stated that these measures have been taken to ensure public safety, peace, and an uninterrupted, secure environment during the President’s Parade at PMA Kakul.
