Iconic Kashmir leader Dr. Farooq Haider remembered on death anniversary

MIRPUR (AJK), Oct 06 (APP):Veteran iconic leader of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front  (JKLF-Y)  Dr.Farooq Haider Malik on Monday was paid tributes on his death anniversary, solemnized in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) .
According to the statement released to the media here,  the party spokesman Muhammad Rafiq Dar said that Dr. Farooq Haider was the founding member of JKLF and the current freedom struggle of Jammu and Kashmir.
He was the most revered leader of the party who along with his family had migrated from Jammu during 1947 while some of the family members were martyred by goons in Jammu during the migration, the spokesman added.
Rafiq Dar informed that Late Dr. Farooq Haider was  very close associate of  Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Quaid-e-Tehreek, Late Amanullah Khan. He said that Dr. Farooq sb was a selfless man who for being the pioneer of the current freedom struggle stood by his ideology.
Paying  tributes to the departed Kashmiri leader, the JKLF spokesman said ” Dr. Haider was a great social worker who  always take care of the needy people of the society. He had great association with Maqbool Butt, Amanullah Khan, G. M. Mir, Abdul Khaliq Ansari Adv, Sardar Rasheed Hasrat, G. M. Lone, Mir Qayoom, Mir Manan, Iqramullah Jaswal, Maj. Amanullah and Majeed Amjad Butt like stalwarts of the freedom movement who stood by their oath taken at Suchitgarh in 1965 while holding the soil of their motherland (Jammu Kashmir) in their hands”.
Rafiq Dar, on behalf of the entire party leadership, paid rich tributes to Dr. Farooq Haider Malik for his unmatched and unforgettable services he had rendered in the freedom struggle of Jammu Kashmir.
