HANOI, Oct 6 (Xinhua/APP): Vietnam welcomed more than 15.4 million international visitors in the first nine months of 2025, up 21.5 percent year on year, the National Statistics Office said Monday.
During the period, air arrivals reached 13.1 million, accounting for 85.2 percent of the total, followed by 13.6 percent by road and 1.2 percent by sea.
Most of the visitors came from Asia, totaling over 12.2 million, up 20.9 percent from a year earlier, according to the report.
Favorable visa policies, intensified tourism promotion programs and a series of activities celebrating major national holidays have helped attract a growing number of international tourists to Vietnam, the office said.
