LAHORE, Oct 05 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid rich tribute to teachers on World Teachers’ Day, describing them as the most credible and respected segment of society.
In her message, she said, “Millions of blessings and greetings be upon the greatest teacher, Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).” She said one day was not enough to acknowledge the greatness of teachers whose guidance and service were timeless and unparalleled.
The CM said that awards had been presented not only to position holders but also to their teachers in recognition of their contribution to nation building. A good teacher, she added, not only imparts knowledge but also inculcates moral values, discipline, and traditions in students.
CM Maryam Nawaz appreciated the dedication and commitment of millions of teachers across Punjab, saying that a good teacher is a positive force in society who can lay the foundation for real change and progress.
