PESHAWAR, Oct 04 (APP):Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi held a meeting with the delegation of the Tajiran Ittehad and PPP Business Forum Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, led by Abdul Wali Gul Turabi, at the Governor’s House on Saturday.
The meeting focused on public issues, institutional challenges, and the lack of sports and recreational facilities in the province.
Governor Kundi said that the absence of playgrounds and positive activities is pushing the younger generation toward violence and waywardness.
He criticized the provincial government’s disappointing role and emphasized the urgent need to engage youth in healthy and constructive pursuits.
Governor Kundi assured the delegation that he is committed to resolving public concerns, though not all issues can be addressed immediately.
He pledged to contact Wapda and police authorities on priority to resolve related matters and provide relief to both traders and the public.
The traders also shared various proposals with the Governor during the meeting.
Meanwhile, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi was called on by a delegation led by the Chairman of Aqua Tech Fisheries, Ahmed Hussain.
The delegation briefed the Governor on their ongoing activities, highlighted the challenges faced by the fisheries sector, and discussed initiatives aimed at promoting aquaculture in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
They requested the Governor’s support for facilitating interventions to strengthen and expand fisheries farming across the province.
Governor Kundi assured the delegation of his full support and pledged to connect them with the relevant authorities to help address their concerns and promote sustainable aquaculture initiatives in the areas.
The delegation appreciated the Governor’s accessibility and his continued encouragement for projects contributing to the economic growth and development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
