LAHORE, Oct 04 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Jati Umra on Saturday, where he met his elder brother, former prime minister and PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
During the meeting, the prime minister briefed Nawaz Sharif on his recent foreign visits and provided a detailed update on the situation in Azad Kashmir, including the outcome of successful negotiations there.
PM Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for a two-day official visit to Malaysia on Sunday at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
It was also disclosed that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim had extended an invitation to Nawaz Sharif to visit Malaysia. Nawaz Sharif, while expressing gratitude for the invitation, said he would consider the visit at a more suitable time.
