PTI’s candidate Malik Jamshaid wins PP-5 election

ISLAMABAD, Jul 26 (APP):Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) candidate Malik Jamshaid Altaf has won election from Punjab Assembly constituency PP-5 Rawalpindi-V by securing 57,136 votes.
According to unofficial results announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan, PML-N’s candidate Malik Bahadur Yar stood second by getting 36,086 votes. The third position was grabbed by TLP’s candidate Syed Ahsan Mahmood Shah with 29,163 votes.
The voters’ turnout was recorded at 68.83%.
