PESHAWAR, Oct 03 (APP):Federal Ombudsman’s Regional Head and former senior bureaucrat Muhammad Mushtaq Jadoon called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at Governor House on Friday and presented the performance report of the Regional Office.
During the meeting, Jadoon informed the Governor that under the leadership of Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi, the Federal Ombudsman’s institution resolved 226,000 complaints in 2024, including cases related to women, children’s rights, widows’ pensions, and overseas Pakistanis. He said the Regional Office’s performance shows that people now have access to an effective forum for redressal of their issues. The Governor lauded the Ombudsman’s services for restoring public trust and promoting good governance, expressing hope that the Regional Office would continue its efforts to address citizens’ complaints promptly.
