HYDERABAD, Oct 03 (APP): Students from the Institute of Law at the University of Sindh (SU) have achieved remarkable success both nationally and internationally, earning recognition for their talent and dedication.
The SU spokesperson informed on Friday in a statement that a team comprising Omar Ellahi, Miss Bageshwari and Miss Daneshwari advanced to the semifinals of the Tashkent International Arbitration Moot Court Competition, after securing second place in the preliminary global rounds.
At the same time, students of the Institute of Law excelled in the Tri-lingual Speech Competition held at the University of Sindh. Aakash Ali Gopang secured first place in English, Miss Wajiha claimed the top spot in Urdu, while Wajahat Hussain Jakhrani earned second place in Sindhi.
A group of meritorious law students headed by the In-Charge Director Institute of Law called on the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Khalil-ur-Rehman Khoumbati, in a bid to brief him about their recent winning performances at the University of Sindh and Tashkent International Arbitration Moot Court Competition.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor said that the achievements of the varsity’s law students reflected the growing academic strength and competitive spirit at Sindh University. “We are proud that our students are making their mark globally as well as nationally,” he said.
He congratulated the students at the juncture and simultaneously advised them to work harder for the next national and international competitions.
