ABBOTTABAD, Oct 03 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Saleem Akram, has said that the district administration is fully committed to resolving public issues and will take every possible step at all forums to ensure relief to the people.
He made these remarks while presiding over a meeting at the DC Office Abbottabad with a delegation of the Circle Bakot Awami Rights Tehreek Action Committee.
During the meeting, a wide range of public concerns were discussed, including the upgradation of Kohala–Boi Road, Bakot–Nathiagali Road, and Khan Jabban Road, as well as the completion of Abbottabad–Thandiani Road.
Other issues raised included the upgradation of Basic Health Units, provision of facilities in local schools, addressing staff shortages, and the construction of safety walls and streetlights along Bakot roadside.
The participants also highlighted the rehabilitation of incomplete ERRA projects and earthquake-affected schools.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the delegation that these matters would be addressed on priority and issued instructions to the relevant departments for immediate measures.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning, district officers, and members of the committee.
