RPO Dera inspects sites for new police stations, offices

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 03 (APP):In order to improve the police infrastructure, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Syed Ashfaq Anwar on Friday visited sites designated for the construction of new police stations and offices in the district.
During the visit, he was accompanied by representatives of NESPAK, PC Unit Peshawar, contractors, and District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada.
On this occasion, the RPO was briefed on the upcoming projects and the structures to be built. He emphasized that under the directives of Khyber Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, the government is committed to equipping the police force in Dera Division with improved facilities, enabling them to perform more effectively against crime and lawlessness.
It was noted that construction work has already commenced during the current fiscal year on seven police stations, the Range Police Office, the DPO Office, the Traffic Headquarters, boundary walls and barracks for the police lines, a police facilitation center, and a modern command and control center.
RPO Anwar directed NESPAK and PC Unit engineers to remain engaged with contractors throughout the construction process in order to ensure adherence to quality standards and the use of proper materials.
